The key arguments for Schmitt pumps: service life, reliability, efficiency
Durability
High-quality components and precise manufacturing processes form the basis for the exceptional durability of our pumps. Smooth running minimises wear, which means that many systems remain in reliable operation even after more than 25 years.
Availability
Standard pumps are generally available within five working days. By keeping selected components in stock, especially Ex motors, we can ensure short delivery times. For time-critical applications, we also offer 24-hour express production followed by next-day delivery.
Efficiency
Schmitt pumps are among the most efficient pumps in their market segment. The NHM series achieves a very high efficiency of 76%.
The high efficiency, particularly of our new Neolution models, reduces energy demand to such an extent that smaller drive motors can be used, also resulting in space savings.
Cost-effectiveness
Our competitive prices are not based on compromises in quality or performance, but on efficient internal structures. Standardised product platforms, a high level of in-house manufacturing and optimised production processes reduce costs along the entire value chain. This efficiency enables market-oriented prices while maintaining high robustness, high efficiency and reliable delivery capability.
At the same time, maintenance-free bearing concepts and energy-efficient operation lead to significantly reduced life cycle costs, as both maintenance requirements and power consumption are sustainably minimised.
raw-material-availability
We address the volatile market situation for neodymium magnets through an adapted procurement strategy. In particular, due to geopolitical influences and export restrictions on rare earths, we are increasingly using alternative magnet concepts to ensure long-term supply security.
Material thicknesses
The pump housings of our heat-resistant UP series models are manufactured from thick-walled precision-cast stainless steel. Compared with thin-walled deep-drawn sheet metal, as commonly used in the market, this results in significantly lower noise emissions and a substantially longer service life, often exceeding 25 years.
Seals
Our seals are predominantly manufactured in Europe and are optionally available with FDA approval.
For specific fluid requirements, we offer a wide selection of available sealing materials.
Plain bearing
By working with leading manufacturers in the field of plain bearings, we ensure that the highest quality requirements are consistently met. This ensures smooth, uniform operation and makes a significant contribution to the long service life of our pumps.
Motors
Our pumps are available with high-quality drives in efficiency classes IE2, IE3 and IE4. In view of rising energy prices and regulatory requirements, this represents a significant advantage. We primarily use drive technology from European premium manufacturers (e.g. WEG).
The high efficiency of our systems also results in significantly reduced life-cycle costs due to lower energy consumption.
Plastic components
Housings, covers and flanges made of plastic are manufactured on in-house injection moulding systems using 100% pure granulate. This ensures maximum purity and dimensional accuracy.
The injection parameters are optimised for each component. Their consistent compliance ensures consistently high product quality.
Component stability
Our plastic components retain their precise fit even after repeated disassembly and assembly. By contrast, lower-cost products often exhibit stresses and dimensional deviations resulting from shortened manufacturing processes.
100% inspection
All pumps are fully tested after assembly. Each unit undergoes a pump test bench test before leaving the factory.
On request, we issue individual test certificates. Production is carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
Maintenance
Our pumps are designed for ease of maintenance. Models in the MPN and NHM series, for example, can be dismantled and reassembled within a few minutes. This significantly reduces assembly times and minimises downtime.
Service
The availability of all spare parts and an efficient spare parts service minimise downtime. The modular design enables maintenance and repair directly on site without special tools.
Experience and References
Schmitt-Kreiselpumpen has almost five decades of experience in pump engineering.
Relevant reference customers include companies from the semiconductor and vacuum technology sectors, such as Pfeiffer Vacuum, Edwards, Intel, Infineon, GlobalFoundries, RENA and Singulus.
Price and cost-effectiveness
Schmitt pumps are characterized by reduced total operating costs. In addition to their long service life, lower energy consumption in particular contributes to low life-cycle costs.
The higher investment costs are amortized within a short time.
