Series SMP
Chemically resistant, single-stage plastic centrifugal pump in close-coupled design, with magnetic drive, self-priming
The SMP series is specifically designed for self-priming operation. It is particularly suitable when the pump has to draw fluid from a lower-level tank and the suction line is filled with air. The motor power is transmitted contactlessly and without wear via a magnetic drive through the closed housing wall (containment shell) to the pump impeller.
- Self-priming
- Magnetic drive
- PP
- 60 °C
- 23 m³/h
- 24 m
- Suction lifts up to 7 m (depending on size)
- Hermetically sealed and completely leak-free, as no shaft seal is used
- Suitable for toxic, environmentally hazardous and aggressive fluids
Performance Overview
Chemically resistant, single-stage plastic centrifugal pump in close-coupled design, with magnetic drive, self-priming
Features
- Hermetically sealed and completely leak-free, as the design principle does not require a shaft seal
- Contactless magnetic drive
- All parts in contact with the fluid made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant plastic PP-GF
- Equipped as standard with flange and threaded connections
- Universally applicable, compact and quiet
- Corrosion-resistant coating
- All screws made of stainless steel V4A (1.4571)
Applications
Pumping acids, lyes or other corrosive, harmful or toxic liquids in applications where the pump must be installed above the liquid level and a hermetically sealed pump is required.
For example in the following applications:
- Electroplating and surface coating
- Wet-chemical processes in semiconductor technology, solar cell production and printed circuit board manufacturing
- Wastewater and fresh water treatment
- Laboratory and medical technology
- Environmental technology, exhaust gas cleaning, gas scrubbers
- Battery manufacturing, energy storage
- High-purity applications, deionised water, ultrapure water
