EN Chemically resistant, single-stage plastic centrifugal pump in close-coupled design, with magnetic drive, non-self-priming
The MPN series is one of the most proven plastic magnetic drive pumps in the world. Continuously developed over decades, several tens of thousands of MPN pumps are now in industrial use worldwide. The motor power is transmitted contactlessly and without wear via a magnetic drive through the closed housing wall (containment shell) to the pump impeller.
Solids up to a particle size of 3 mm and 10 vol.% can be conveyed. The viscosity can be up to 150 mPas, and the maximum fluid temperature is 95 °C.
All sizes are also available in ATEX-certified versions under the designation MPN-EX for use in ATEX Zones 1 and 2.

- Contactless magnetic drive with high-performance neodymium magnets
- Virtually maintenance-free in normal operation due to generously dimensioned plain bearings
- Highly resistant to insufficient lubrication and partial dry running due to large PTFE plain bearings – no fixed axle
- All wetted parts made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant plastics (natural PVDF or PP-GF)
- Equipped as standard with threaded connections according to ISO 228-1; from size 130 also optionally available with flange connections
- Versatile, compact and quiet
- Approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX Zones 1 and 2)
- Optionally available with housing components made of conductive plastic with approval for ATEX Zone 1 (on request; not all versions available)
- Corrosion-resistant coating in RAL 1017, saffron yellow
- All screws made of V4A stainless steel (1.4571)
- All wetted materials with FDA approval (PVDF series)
Applications
Transfer of acids, lyes or other corrosive, harmful or toxic liquids in applications where leakage of even the smallest quantities is undesirable and a hermetically sealed pump is required.
Transfer of high-purity or sensitive liquids where contamination of the process fluid with foreign substances must be avoided.
